Thank you for visiting. My name is Enriqueta and I love to cook, try new recipes, and grow my own herbs and more recently my own vegetables.
I also love the vegan side of Lebanese food. I have a romance with strong and spicy flavors. I cannot eat without dessert. I adore panna cotta with strawberry coulis, chocolate mousse, crémé brulée and I frequently crave for orangettes.
I’m always thinking about the next recipe and talking about food. I cook when I’m happy and I when I’m sad I cook too. Cooking and feeding my family and friends is my way to say I love them.
I love flowers, candles and set the table. And for me to see people’s faces when they are eating my meals and the after lunch - after dinner conversation, are just priceless.
I believe happiness is in those little details and in the simple things of life, and very often the smallest things are the most significant. I count my blessings and every day when I wake up, I thank God for my life.
I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. I lived in Madrid, Geneva, and New York. Since 2007, I made Southern California my home, where I live with my husband and our three boys.
